Not all Zimbabwe entry points accept the eVisa or KAZA UniVisa. This guide lists all official Zimbabwe ports of entry — airports and land border crossings — with details on which visa types are accepted and opening hours.

⚠️ KAZA UniVisa NOT available at Harare. If flying into Harare and wanting to visit Zambia, buy a standard tourist eVisa ($30) and then get the KAZA UniVisa when you reach Victoria Falls.

Busiest Entry Points

  • Beitbridge — busiest land border in Africa; expect long queues especially Dec–Jan. Arrive early morning.
  • Victoria Falls Airport — main hub for tourists; KAZA UniVisa available here
  • Harare RGM Airport — main international gateway; most airlines arrive here
  • Chirundu — popular for overland travel South Africa → Zambia
Where can I use the KAZA UniVisa?

The KAZA UniVisa is only available/accepted at: Victoria Falls International Airport, Victoria Falls road border, Kazungula border post, and Chirundu. It is NOT available at Harare airport.

Can I use my Zimbabwe eVisa at any border crossing?

Yes — the standard Zimbabwe eVisa is accepted at all official airports and land border posts listed above. Make sure to apply at evisa.gov.zw and print your Letter of Authority before arriving.

What are Beitbridge border hours?

Beitbridge border post is open approximately 06:00–22:00 daily. It’s the busiest land border in Africa — arrive early morning to avoid long queues, especially during December–January holiday season.
